Wildlife Photography

DJS Photography www.djsphotography.co.uk/

This is David J. Slater's website, with his galleries of stunning images, many from his home area in the forest of Dean. David's photographs are notable, not only as images of British wildlife (and some from his travels abroad), but as technical and artistic achievements. Take a look, especially at the shots of wild boar in the Forest of Dean. DJS is passionate about conserving these beautiful creatures in the face of some opposition (see his news section).

Wildlife Imaging www.wildlife-imaging.co.uk/

Chris Grady is a Hereford based photographer who has set himself the task of getting high quality images of as many birds and other UK wildlife as he can. His site includes bird, plant, animal and insect galleries, as well as images from his foreign travels. These are beautiful photographs and if you've only ever caught a fleeting glimpse of that bird or butterfly here is your chance to see clear details - like having a field guide but with artistry. Chris give details of the equipment he uses, and also has a list of useful links.

Pete Walkden's Bird Photography http://petewalkdensbirdphotography.fotopic.net/

Pete's photography shows us birds we are used to seeing in a different light. Blackbirds, chaffinches, house sparrows, and our personal favourite, the bullfinch. Beautiful shots of old friends, with the odd rarity thrown in for good measure .
